Schaus-Vorhies Contracting is a well-established pre-engineered metal building erection company with over 40 years in business. We are currently hiring experienced Steel Erectors / PEMB Installers to join our growing crew. This role includes all phases of pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) construction, including structural steel frames, girts and purlins, wall and roof panels, insulation systems, trim and flashing, gutters and downspouts, and specialty project components as required. This is a hands-on, physical work performed outdoors and at heights. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour days, with overtime frequently available and occasional Saturdays based on project deadlines. Per diem is offered for projects outside Fairfield, IA, with hotels provided for overnight work. A company pool vehicle is available for travel to/from job sites.
