About The Position
Delta Precision Components and its' divisions for Delta Gear and Delta Research is an AS9100 and ISO9001 registered facility which manufactures precision gear products for the aerospace and automotive industry. We are also a NADCAP approved non-destructive testing facility and currently provide Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Nital Etch. We currently have an opening for a Quality Inspector. The successful candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of Quality and technical tasks requiring thorough knowledge of manufacturing procedures and practice.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous related experience in quality assurance required.
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, quality management principles and quality control techniques
- Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from specifications or standards
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on products to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements
- Utilize various measurement tools and equipment such as coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments
- Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and procedures
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the quality control process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain consistency in quality assurance processes
