About The Position
Advanced Periodontics Implant Center in Rancho Mirage, CA is seeking a part-time dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist. The office is committed to providing a supportive environment where patient care and clinical excellence are top priorities, offering flexibility for those seeking a part-time schedule. As part of the team, the hygienist will collaborate with Specialists, Dental Assistants, and Patient Care Coordinators to deliver world-class patient experiences. Requirements
- 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience
- Current state license as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong knowledge of periodontal practices, instruments, and infection control
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient-first approach
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
- Valid California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Dentrix software preferred
- Laser certification (preferred but not required)
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and screenings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and personalized treatment plans
- Take high-quality digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with the Doctors and Office Manager to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Adhere to all OSHA and HIPAA safety and compliance standards
