About The Position

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• 1-5yrs experience preferred
• Willingness to travel to jobsites. Travel across the US is 100% covered.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• HVAC field/install experience is preferred but not required for a strong candidate — we will train the trade onto the right attitude and skills.

Nice To Haves

• Commercial HVAC installation experience.
• Refrigeration piping and brazing.
• EPA Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Building Automation Systems (BAS) / controls.
• OSHA 10/30; commissioning and air-balancing experience.

Responsibilities

• Practice 100% Safe work 100% of the time
• Install CaptiveAire HVAC equipment — RTUs, ductwork, exhaust fans, and supporting ancillary products — and execute full RTU change-outs.
• Install HVAC low voltage + space HMI’s.
• Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and mechanical drawings.
• Follow CaptiveAire installation standards on every job — spreader-bar lifts, minimal deck cutouts, CAS-supplied gasket with surplus on hand, and a clean, safe, organized jobsite.
• Coordinate with the Installation Manager and field teams to keep installs on schedule and on spec.
