About The Position

Logan Services is seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to join their Columbus team. This role involves leading residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, mentoring apprentices and installers, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Requirements

  • Strong residential HVAC installation experience.
  • Experience installing and replacing HVAC systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC safety requirements and applicable codes.
  • The ability to lead, coach, and mentor less-experienced installers.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to manage a job from start to finish.
  • A commitment to quality workmanship and doing the job right the first time.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership experience is preferred, but we're also interested in experienced installers who are ready to take the next step into a Lead Installer role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead residential HVAC installation and replacement projects from start to finish.
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related HVAC equipment.
  • Lead and mentor apprentices and installation helpers.
  • Ensure proper installation techniques, safety practices, and quality standards are followed.
  • Troubleshoot complex installation issues and determine effective solutions.
  • Coordinate tools, equipment, materials, and jobsite needs to keep projects moving.
  • Communicate with homeowners and explain the installation process, equipment operation, and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate installation records and job documentation.
  • Work with dispatch, sales, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure a smooth installation process.
  • Take ownership of the quality of the installation and overall customer experience.
