About The Position

McWilliams is hiring a Lead HVAC Installer who wants to be paid based on production — not capped hourly wage! This is a percentage-based position, meaning you earn a set percentage of each completed installation. The more efficiently you lead your crew, deliver quality workmanship, and complete jobs at a high standard, the more you earn. If you take pride in clean installs, strong leadership, and delivering an exceptional customer experience, this is a high-opportunity role with serious income potential.

Requirements

  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
  • 3–5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Proven leadership and crew management ability
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems and installation best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret installation manuals and schematics
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and performance-driven mindset

Responsibilities

  • Lead and complete residential HVAC installations from start to finish
  • Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and residential ductwork
  • Supervise, train, and mentor install helpers
  • Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company standards
  • Perform system start-ups and verify proper operation
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding system operation and job progress
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Complete the required job documentation accurately
  • Represent Advanced Air Systems in a professional manner
