About The Position
BrightStar Care is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a full-time in-home care position. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced CHHA to provide quality care to a client in their home.
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)
- At least 1 year of HHA/CHHA experience required
- Current CPR certification required
- Most recent TB test or chest X-ray
- Current physical examination
- Reliable transportation
- Must be dependable, compassionate, professional, and responsible
- Must be comfortable providing care independently in a client's home
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Assisting with dressing and toileting
- Assisting with transfers, mobility, and ambulation
- Meal planning and preparation
- Light housekeeping related to the client's care
- Laundry and changing bed linens
- Medication reminders as permitted by the care plan
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Accompanying the client to appointments or errands when needed
- Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Following the care plan and all care instructions
