About The Position

Provide customer service to customers, by assisting customers, and providing information and product knowledge, which is maintained through being dependable for all shifts, and handling of customer complaints and provide warranty service in a professional manner, as per Southland Co-op policies and procedures. To be responsible for the delivery of products in a professional and efficient manner. To assist in maintaining a customer contact program, with the direction of the Petroleum Division Manager. To maintain and clean delivery units, trailers & equipment, and ensuring service records are updated. To assist in organizing and maintaining a professional appearance of petroleum and agro related products. To assist in organizing and maintaining our cardlock facilities. To be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely driver reports. To be familiar with and adhere to Southland Co-op policies and procedures. To be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a safe and effective manner. To assist other departments with deliveries throughout the year. To assist with management of inventory. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid 1A license with clean driver abstract.
  • Ability to work on own and also with a team.
  • Knowledge of petroleum and agro products an asset.
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work flexible hours.
  • Physically able to do heavy lifting.
  • Current certification in TDG and WHMIS required.
  • Computer skills an asset.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment testing as per Southland’s Alcohol & Substance Policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of petroleum and agro products an asset.
  • Computer skills an asset.
