About The Position
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing superior guest services, including courteously and efficiently checking hotel guests in and out, processing all payments according to established hotel requirements, and providing information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner. The role requires handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, processing check-ins and check-outs, adhering to payment and cash handling policies, generating daily reports, and resolving discrepancies with Housekeeping. The position also involves other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum one year customer service experience
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
- Computer experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele
Responsibilities
- Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently
- Process all payments according to established hotel requirements
- Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner
- Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction

- Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures
- Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel
- Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping
