Senior Financial Planning Analyst (FP&A) - Eataly Corporate

About The Position
The Senior FP&A Analyst supports analysis and interpretation of data related to inventory allocation, cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, revenue, operational expenses, and the profit and loss statement. Working closely with the FP&A Manager, the analyst provides analysis and helps execute changes to maximize profitability and productivity. The position reports directly to the FP&A Manager and may occasionally support FP&A-related activities in the store, including inventory counts and invoice processing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Demonstrated success in financial modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Data-driven mindset.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Three or more years of experience in FP&A.
- Familiarity with databases, automation, or business intelligence.
- Passion for and interest in Italian food.
Responsibilities
- Support the FP&A Manager with in-depth daily analysis of costs, labor, margins, operational expenses, and sales performance.
- Work with the FP&A Manager to create reports tailored to the needs of the FP&A Department and Store Management.
- Support inventory entry and overall inventory management.
- Occasionally support store-based FP&A activities, including inventory counts and invoice processing.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop resourceful and creative approaches to improving operational efficiencies, profit margins, and return on investment.
- Educate and train team members on processes and procedures to support smooth adoption and compliance.
- Support the FP&A Manager in training team members on Eataly’s in-house sales database, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.
