About The Position

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in an emergency or adult critical-care setting as a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT certification and trauma certification in the state or states where required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required before flight status.
• NRP certification required before flight status; certification is provided during new-hire training.
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) certification required within 24 months from the date of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Prior flight experience.
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, or ITLS/PHTLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess each situation and determine an appropriate course of action to support, monitor, and treat patients in critical-care situations.
• Use critical-thinking skills to manage critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients and support physicians’ orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment.
• Perform regular equipment and base checks and comply with safety standards and briefings.
• Communicate and collaborate professionally with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Share shift-change information with the transitioning team.
• Follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
• Meet standards for punctuality, reliability, professionalism, safety, and service.
