About The Position
The Finance team supporting Amazon Fulfillment Technologies (AFT) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to partner with the AFT organization and help drive their future innovations. AFT powers Amazon’s global fulfillment network by designing and building the software and processes that enable customers to get what they want, when they want it. This role requires the ability to think and act quickly under time pressure and manage multiple competing priorities effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and developing/delivering recommendations based on this analysis. The successful candidate will influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment. They will collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. Amazon is fast-growing, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidates must be motivated, disciplined, and able to work effectively autonomously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Nice To Haves
- MBA, or CPA
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
