About The Position

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have at least one year of accountant, finance, or administrative work experience.
• Must be Permitted to have Access to Department Institutions and FLAIR.

Nice To Haves

• MFMP experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to fiscal standards and regulations, including §215.422 F.S., HIPAA, and department procedures, to ensure timely payment of legal liabilities.
• Audit and reconcile vendor invoices using MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP), Ariba On Demand (AOD), and FLAIR, ensuring all documentation is accurate and approved.
• Maintain and organize automated files of source documents and reports, and prepare vouchers for record retention according to department policies.
• Regularly monitor invoice and encumbrance reports, follow up on outstanding items, and reconcile vendor accounts as needed.
• Stay current and efficient by maintaining required training hours and attending additional training in accounting and computer systems, while also handling special projects as needed.
