About The Position

Requirements

  • Valid operator certification or license for relevant heavy equipment as required by state regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction, industrial, or similar environment.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and operational guidelines.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate machinery for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery including but not limited to bulldozers, cranes, forklifts, and excavators in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition and report any defects or malfunctions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for self and coworkers.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and moving materials as required by project specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and minor repairs to keep equipment operational.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and report progress or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents.
