About The Position
Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for an “ Engineering Technician</b>” based out of Tucson, AZ. Job Duration:</b> Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Rate:</b> $36/hr on W2 Company Benefits:</b> Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick leave, 401K
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field
- 3–5 years of hands -on engineering technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Experience with lab/test equipment and mechanical tools
Nice To Haves
- Medical device or regulated industry experience
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro -mechanical systems
- Perform assembly, testing, and modification of prototypes and equipment
- Work with schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators)
- Conduct fault isolation, calibration, and system validation
- Support R&D activities including experiments, data collection, and analysis
- Collaborate with cross -functional teams and ensure quality and compliance
