About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts in English, Journalism, Mass Communication or a related field
  • One-two years in media / publishing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe InCopy and Google Docs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel a plus.

Responsibilities

  • charged with ownership of category coverage
  • responsible for developing storylines
  • a member of the editorial team in content creation and bringing new story ideas to the table
  • tasked with proofreading pages during the production process of the print issue to assist the senior managing editor.
  • Travel to key industry events, trade shows and partner meetings is required, resulting in coverage for each FCW platform including the FCW1.com website, social platforms, videos and print.
