About The Position

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Director, Outreach/Transition to operate the Centennial Job Corps Center in Nampa, ID. In this role, you will provide quality services to local youth, focusing on outreach, admissions, and career transition activities in compliance with government and management directives. MTC values its professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people's lives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and two (2) years related supervisory experience; or Associate’s degree and four (4) years related supervisory experience required
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and programs affecting the OA and CT services.
  • Assess and audit outreach/career advisor and transition coordinator offices regularly for contractual compliance and quality of services to students and centers. Prepare audit and assessment reports.
  • Oversee the delivery of career transition services, placement of students and former enrollees, and placement follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate career transition efforts with placement contractors, regional/national DOL offices, military, schools and other job placement agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
