About The Position
Join our Virginia Beach team near Chic's Beach as a Direct Support Professional and help individuals with developmental disabilities live their best lives – all while enjoying a fun, flexible job with room to grow. This role offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others, engage in community outings, and build independence. The position is part-time with flexible scheduling options and competitive pay.
Requirements
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Valid Driver's License
- Reliable transportation
- Satisfactory Criminal Background Check
Nice To Haves
- Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
- Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
- Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
- Skill in locating and accessing community resources.
Responsibilities
