About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join their dynamic clinical team at Keck Medicine of USC, located in Los Angeles, CA. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR), or eligible and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
  • Minimum 3 years of functional experience as a practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
  • Experience with diverse patient populations, including critical care and nutrition support
  • Strong ability to collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • Self‑directed, flexible team player with strong communication and time‑management skills
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam after 1/1/24
  • Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree and/or specialty certification preferred
  • Experience with PI/QI initiatives preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition care across a diverse patient population, including critical care and nutrition support
  • Educate and collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff; demonstrate strong interdisciplinary relationship‑building skills
  • Participate in Performance Improvement / Quality Improvement (PI/QI) initiatives with an interest in advancing best practices
  • Willing and eager to learn new processes where prior experience may be limited
  • Precept and mentor Dietetic Interns
