About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or BSN.
• At least 3 years as a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES).
• Complete understanding and application of principles, practices, and standards in diabetes care directly with patients.
• Experience with direct patient interaction and support for persistence and compliance.
• Demonstrated time-management, planning, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Effective presentation skills and excellent written, verbal, and virtual communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and build relationships with customers and cross-functional partners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Excellent documentation accuracy, listening, and problem-solving skills; enthusiasm for supporting patients.
• Ability to work from a dedicated workspace in the primary home residence.
• Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Healthcare-related credentials such as Registered Nurse, Registered Dietitian, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner, or Pharmacist.
• Contact center experience using a telephony platform.
• Motivational Interviewing experience.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about specific diabetes treatments and resources for beginning and managing diabetes and using prescribed medication.
• Communicate one-on-one with enrolled patients by telephone, video platforms, email, and SMS while strictly following program guidelines.
• Support patients’ treatment persistence and compliance.
• Document interactions accurately.
• Manage time, plan and prioritize work, multitask, and meet key project deadlines.
• Build relationships with customers and cross-functional partners.
• Use effective listening and problem-solving skills to support patients.
