About The Position
Main St Dental is growing and looking for a friendly, motivated Dental Assistant to join our team for a temporary assignment in Buda, TX! This is a great opportunity for both experienced dental assistants and newly registered RDAs looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a supportive practice environment. The assignment is for approximately 12 weeks.
Requirements
- Active Texas dental assistant license
- Dental Assistant training/school certification
- 2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Experience with digital software
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dentists chairside
- Welcomes patients
- Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
- Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
- Instrument sterilization according to regulations
- Maintains accurate patient records
- Lab tasks as instructed
- Provide post-operative care instructions
- Maintain clean and stocked operatories
