About The Position

Woodside Family Dental is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their growing team. They aim to make dental visits fun and relaxing, focusing on patient care and excellence in dentistry. This role is for someone who enjoys creating a smooth environment that puts the patient first and wants to help patients every day.

Requirements

• Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) license is required
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• New grads or those with experience working as a Licensed Dental Assistant
• Knowledgeable of General Dentistry is a plus but open to a specialty background

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.
