About The Position

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but not strictly necessary.
• Familiarity with dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like taking radiographs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle patients with care and respect.
• Self-motivated with the capability to multitask effectively.
• Strict punctuality and reliability.
• Friendly demeanor and open to coaching and professional development.
• Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assistance program.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm, and Fridays from 8 am to 1 pm.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms before and after procedures.
• Taking high-quality radiographs as required.
• Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
• Assisting with various dental procedures which include, but are not limited to, fillings, crowns, root canals, intraoral scanning, and placing Invisalign buttons.
• Ensuring that dental operatories are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
• Adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for all.
• Supporting dental specialists in various treatments as needed.
• Recording and updating patient treatment records as needed.
• Maintaining a compassionate and efficient clinical environment.
