About The Position

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of SQL; Microsoft SQL Server is preferred, while Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL knowledge is helpful.
• Familiarity with at least one BI or reporting tool, such as Power BI, Report Builder, or Tableau.
• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and recognize when to escalate.
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn.
• Customer service orientation when supporting internal stakeholders.
• Effective time management and ability to handle multiple requests.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to data warehousing concepts, including dimensional modeling and ETL processes.
• Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry.
• Microsoft SQL Server experience; knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Query, analyze, and report on data from enterprise systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using SQL and business intelligence tools.
• Support data quality and documentation efforts.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from business stakeholders.
• Work under the guidance of senior developers and engineers while gaining exposure to data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance practices.
