About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
• Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist upon starting.
• Must obtain CT Certification within one year of accepting the offer.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association upon starting.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Computed Tomography Technologist in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to department and hospital policies and procedures, with a focus on patient safety.
• Complete ancillary tasks to support efficient and consistent departmental operations.
• Follow radiation protection and safety protocols and regulatory guidelines for patients, staff, and self.
• Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Track patients according to department procedures.
• Identify errors and take immediate corrective action, as reflected in EMR, PACS, and Radiology Information Systems reports.
• Participate in department and hospital performance improvement initiatives, in-services, and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
