Under the direction of the Superintendent of Maintenance, or designee, the Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining records relating to parts and supplies at their respective location. Essential functions include: Maintaining records utilizing the Oracle system, Veeder-Root, and Fleetwatch; Receiving and issuing parts and supplies; Handling incoming and outgoing shipments; Evaluating parts usage from equipment repair orders; Handling bus down situations; Reviewing stock levels and preparing reorder notice to replenish and maintain inventory levels; Performing and verifying cycle counts; Investigating and resolving parts variances; Preparing requisitions; Preparing and issuing transfers; Maintaining MRO inventory balances; Monitoring gas readings and maintaining fluid and fuel levels; Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom; Performing other duties as assigned or required.
