Head Handball Coach

About The Position
Lake Forest College, located just north of Chicago, invites applications for the part-time position of Head Handball Coach. This role provides a comprehensive opportunity for an individual passionate about working in collegiate athletics. Coaching our 51x National Championships program with extremely talented student-athletes within a highly selective liberal arts environment are highlights of the role. The position requires a strong on-campus presence, including significant evenings and weekends, and reports to the Assistant Vice President for Athletics. Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years of experience in collegiate or professional athletic experience in lacrosse
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Organize all facets of the Program: Scheduling, travel, team roster management, departmental responsibilities for budget reconciliation, practice planning, and team academic monitoring.
- Recruit qualified student-athletes for both the men’s and women’s programs at the College.
