About The Position

This position is responsible for the coordination of patient services within the Device Department to ensure consistent patient monitoring. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current BLS certification required (must be obtained in 90 days if not current).
  • All employees must be able to provide proof of their identity and their right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical assistant, certified nursing assistant, or related clinical experience preferred.
  • Medical assistant diploma, nursing assistant certification or clinical credentials preferred.
  • Cardiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Device Department reports and tasks according to established guidelines.
  • Coordination of device department schedules for multiple locations.
  • Patient enrollment, education and equipment ordering for home monitoring in all device websites.
  • Assist patients to resolve device home equipment issues.
  • Assist with Device/ Heart Failure research processes when appropriate.
  • Assist with departmental projects, recalls and advisories according to scope of knowledge.
  • Coordination and management of tasks and patient calls.
  • Manages device generator implant and exchange tasks and processes.
  • Contact person for other departments with device inquiries.
