About The Position

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy License.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan background and TB clearance
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in speech therapy
• Department of Education certification
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and special education programs
• Experience with school-based caseload management

Responsibilities

• Support direct intervention for fine motor, perceptual motor, and sensorimotor functions.
• Collaborate with the team for goal development, scheduling, classroom accommodations, and therapeutic activities.
• Consult with the supervising OT and team members to maximize skill generalization and accommodations across educational environments.
• Assist with identifying, distributing, and training on assistive and adaptive equipment and technologies.
• Maintain thorough and timely records of student progress, including therapy notes, billing, accommodations, and supervision logs.
• Employees are encouraged to schedule their time off during school breaks. Time off requests will be reviewed and approved by the supervisor to ensure minimal disruption to normal operations.
