About The Position
Varco Home Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide one-on-one therapy support in patients’ homes, helping them improve independence and safely perform daily activities. This PRN position offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and independence in the field, with consistent patient volume available. The work is on the road in Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Active Texas COTA license (required).
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently in a home setting.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred.
- Kinnser/WellSky EMR experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), strength, coordination, and safety.
- Reinforce therapy plans and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising OT.
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety and functional techniques.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
