About The Position

Requirements

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• High School, equivalent or higher is required
• Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
• Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA) + either 2 years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training program

Nice To Haves

• One or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates clinic operations
• Assist providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management
• Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary
• Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records
• Demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians
• Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary
