About The Position

This role involves providing patient care support by assisting providers with examinations, treatments, and clinical documentation. The Certified Medical Assistant will also manage clinical workflow by facilitating efficient patient intake, conducting interviews, recording vital signs, updating charts, and preparing treatment rooms. Additionally, the role includes handling clinical administration such as managing patient orders (transcribing lab, radiology, and medication requests) and maintaining accurate medical records. The position also supports operational efficiency by maintaining an organized and well-stocked clinical environment and providing essential clerical support.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
