About The Position

Perform individualized patient procedures, treatment, and tests. Complete related clerical tasks, including preparing charts, stocking clinic supplies, and answering telephones. Provide advanced assistance with medical clinic operations and monitor clinic flow. Some Saturdays are required. The position includes a sign-on bonus for eligible new hires joining Seattle Children’s.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Current Medical Assistant – Certified designation from the Washington Department of Health (DOH); current Interim Certification through Washington State may substitute for up to 12 months from its issue date.
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• Current National Medical Assistant Association Certification; eligible for a premium.
• Current medical assistant experience in pediatrics, urgent care, and/or medical screening and immunization.
