About The Position
Join our collaboration between Deaconess Health System and Orthopaedic Associates as a full-time Certified Anesthesia Assistant (CAA) practicing at the Orthopedic Surgery Center. This role offers a weekday schedule from 7a - 5p, with no weekends or holidays (176 scheduled shifts annually), providing exceptional work-life balance. You will practice in a high-quality ambulatory surgery environment focused on orthopedic procedures. As an integral member of a collaborative anesthesia care team, you will work alongside anesthesiologists and CRNAs to deliver exceptional perioperative care. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program
- Certified or certification-eligible through the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
- Eligible for or currently holding an active Indiana Anesthesiologist Assistant license
- Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional perioperative care as an integral member of a collaborative anesthesia care team alongside anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
- Practice in a high-quality ambulatory surgery environment focused on orthopedic procedures.
