About The Position
Immediate 1099 openings for a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) at Blue Ridge Surgery Center in Raleigh, NC. This is a flexible role in a fast-paced 8-bed ambulatory surgery center. Blue Ridge Surgery Center, established in 1985, has grown to include six operating rooms and two procedure rooms, spanning 13,000 square feet and staffed by 80 professionals. The center is dedicated to providing high-quality surgery services with a superior patient experience and clinical outcomes. They emphasize training, education, and advancing the work environment through dedicated support.
Requirements
- Schedule: No call, weekends, or holiday work.
- Master’s Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program
- Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines
- Must provide Articles of Incorporation for either an "S" Corp or "C" Corp
- Must provide own malpractice insurance coverage for full State Limits
Responsibilities
- Case assignments: Full spectrum of outpatient anesthesia—orthopedics, cataracts, retinas, ENT pediatrics, and GYN.
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $175/hr
