About The Position
Preferred Care at Home is seeking qualified caregivers to staff a 24/7 case in Yorktown, VA. This role offers the opportunity for significant weekly hours through 12-hour shifts. At Preferred Care at Home, we prioritize our caregivers, fostering a supportive, valued, and respected environment to ensure the highest quality of care. We aim to create a positive and dependable work atmosphere where every team member is recognized and supported.
Requirements
- Experienced PCA (Personal Care Assistant)
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Assist the client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for the client
