About The Position

Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality in-home care. The caregiver assists clients with personal care and activities of daily living, mobility, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship, working with clients, families, and the care team to promote safety, independence, dignity, and quality of life. This is a PRN (as-needed) position. Work hours are flexible and depend on caregiver availability and client needs; the company will work with caregivers to build schedules around preferred hours and availability. The position is in Winter Haven, Florida, and pays $15 per hour.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable personal vehicle.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare meals and cook according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing the client’s living space.
Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
Provide errands or transportation as needed.
