In-Home Caregiver- CNA/ Home Health Aide
About The Position
Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality in-home care to clients. The role supports seniors in living independently through respectful, personalized assistance that promotes safety, dignity, and quality of life. Duties include personal care, activities of daily living, mobility assistance, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The caregiver works with clients, families, and the care team, following care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals. This is a PRN (as-needed) position, with hours based on caregiver availability and client needs. The organization works with caregivers to build schedules around their preferred hours and availability when possible. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 12 p.m.–3 p.m. The position is located in Hudson, Florida, and pays $16.50 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Completion of a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Nice To Haves
- CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare meals and cook according to clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
- Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
- Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals.
- Run errands or provide transportation as needed.
