About The Position

Mind & Mobility is seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality in-home care to clients. The role supports seniors in living independently through personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, mobility support, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship. The caregiver works with clients, families, and the care team to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment that promotes independence and quality of life. This is a PRN, as-needed position. Hours are flexible and depend on caregiver availability and client needs; the company works with caregivers to build schedules around their preferred hours and availability. The role is based in Tampa, Florida, and is described as a day shift with short shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of professional caregiving or home care experience.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable personal vehicle.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Must complete a Level 2 background screening through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

CNA license, HHA certificate, or verifiable medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with clients’ dietary needs and restrictions.
Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and organizing clients’ living spaces.
Monitor and record vital signs, provide medication reminders, and complete medical documentation as required.
Assist clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Run errands or provide transportation as needed.
