About The Position
Associated Home Care is hiring caregivers, including Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Homemakers (HMKs), to provide compassionate, personalized care to seniors in their own homes across multiple locations in Massachusetts. Caregivers help clients live safely and comfortably while supporting their dignity and independence. This is a full-time, part-time, or per-diem role, with flexible scheduling options.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Nice To Haves
- HHA certificate or CNA license; not required, and training is provided.
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote clients’ emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
