Caregiver - HHA
About The Position
Associated Home Care is hiring caregivers, including Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Homemakers (HMKs), to provide compassionate, personalized care to seniors in their homes across multiple locations in Massachusetts. Caregivers help clients live safely and comfortably while supporting their dignity, independence, and emotional well-being. The role includes personal care, household assistance, companionship, medication reminders, and documenting client activities and condition. HHA certification or a CNA license is preferred but not required; training is provided. Full-time, part-time, and per-diem options are listed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality.
Nice To Haves
- HHA certificate or CNA license; certification is not required, and training is provided.
- Open availability is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Homemaker, or Companion.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with light housekeeping, errands, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and transportation.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, mobility support, and incontinence care.
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being.
- Provide medication reminders as needed.
- Document daily activities, client well-being, and changes in condition.
