About The Position

HomeWell Care Services is seeking talented, ambitious individuals to join their team as a Home Care Staffing Coordinator. This role is responsible for staffing all client service hours, ensuring qualified caregivers are matched with client needs and that scheduling changes are communicated effectively. The Staffing Coordinator also acts as a liaison with caregivers to foster engagement and promote employee retention, significantly impacting daily operations and client care. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, an expert at managing multiple priorities, and enjoys working with people.

Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience scheduling in Private duty home Care preferred
  • ClearCare knowledge is a plus
  • Must be a good person and someone we want to hang out with (seriously).
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and telephone etiquette, and be able to interact effectively with persons from diverse backgrounds with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Able to exercise initiative, problem solve and apply sound judgment.
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple demands simultaneously.
  • Must possess exceptional organizational skills and follow-through and be comfortable utilizing various technologies and computer programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the use of our staff to ensure consistent quality of care for all clients.
  • Use a web-based scheduling application as the basis for all schedules
  • Create and maintain schedules for all employees
  • Contact caregivers regarding shift coverage and any changes to the hours of their regular schedule
  • Keep a “hot list” of all staff that can be placed immediately or used as a backup for all call off situations
  • Fill open shifts and secure coverage for call-offs or changes in client’s needs
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Managers, Caregivers & Clients regarding scheduling and changes
  • Participates in determining hiring needs, as well as interviewing, hiring, and training new staff
