Shop Tech to Service Advisor — Career-Track Growth Role

Midas OLYMPIAOlympia, WA
$18 - $23Onsite

About The Position

Midas Olympia is seeking a motivated individual for a unique career-track growth role, transitioning from a Shop Tech to a Service Advisor. This position is designed for someone who wants to learn both the technical and customer-facing aspects of the automotive industry. You will start by learning shop maintenance, inspections, and workflow, and then cross-train into front counter duties, including customer communication and turning inspections into approvals. This is a structured growth path into a valuable role, not a temporary position or a dead-end job. The shop is locally owned, focused on building trust, delivering excellent customer experiences, and growing as a full-service repair destination. They are investing in their team and processes and are looking for someone who wants to grow with them.

  • You're coachable — you take feedback, apply it, and don't make excuses
  • You move with urgency and follow through on what you say you'll do
  • You have mechanical interest or basic automotive aptitude
  • You're dependable — the team can count on you to show up and give full effort
  • You want a career, not just a paycheck
