About The Position
Nortech Advanced NDT is looking for a Working Manager, Technician to join their team in Fort McMurray. This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, strong organizational skills, motivation, multitasking abilities, and physical fitness. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at heights, under variable to harsh environmental conditions, as well as in an office setting, and be willing to work extended hours when needed. The successful candidate will adhere to Nortech's policies, procedures, and safety protocols, representing the company with professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- CGSB/ CWB qualifications
- 3-year experience in Crane & Lift inspections
- Class 5 valid driver’s license
- Computer proficiency
- English proficiency
- Personable
- Growth mindset

Responsibilities
- Sales
- Establish/ Maintain business relations
- Grow Company Footprint
- Perform inspections/ reporting
- Oversee company equipment maintenance
- Control day to day operations
- Hiring
- Arrange orientations/ compliance
- Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
- May instruct and supervise others
- Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management
