About The Position
The Exercise Physiologist works in cardiac rehabilitation at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California. Under the direct supervision of an Exercise Specialist or RN, the role assists with departmental activities within the scope of practice defined by ACSM and AACVPR guidelines. The position evaluates risk factors and educational needs, and provides orientation, education, treatment, and care for adult and geriatric patients in cardiac rehabilitation phases I (inpatient) through IV. It also provides exercise physiology expertise as indicated. This is a full-time position with 8-hour day shifts. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

- Experience in cardiac and/or pulmonary rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
