Under direct supervision, performs a variety of activities in support of concrete operations. Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of proven work experience
- Willing to submit to drug checks and provide employment recommendations
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip inspections of concrete pumps to ensure that they conform to federal DOT regulations.
- Fill pump water tank before each project and ensure that the valves are properly shut.
- Drive to specified construction locations in a punctual manner.
- Evaluate site conditions and work with contractors to set up the truck in the right place.
- Operate pump as specified to place concrete in desired locations.
- Load and unload concrete pump attachments and ensure that pump systems are properly cleaned after job completion.
- Keep dispatchers informed of project statuses through cell phones, and take and respond to orders for further projects.
- Perform preventative and general maintenance on concrete pump machines, tools and equipment.
