About The Position

Requirements

• Driver’s license required: Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadside tire service on commercial vehicles during scheduled hours and after-hours on-call periods.
• Perform tire service at customer sites.
• Identify tires and inflate them correctly for their size and ply.
• Use balancing machines to determine the counterweights needed to balance wheels.
• Dismount wheels from trucks and equipment using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.
• Mount wheels onto trucks and equipment.
• Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.
• Repair punctured tires.
• Maintain the service vehicle, including daily inspections and oil changes.
• Keep the truck stocked with tire accessories.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with customers.
• Maintain tools and tire accessories.
• Keep the shop and truck clean to reflect the proper corporate image.
• Protect company assets.
• Follow the company’s safety culture and perform all jobs safely.
• Maintain regular attendance in accordance with the assigned schedule.
• Perform the physical requirements listed in the job description.
• Perform other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management.
