About The Position

Carter Lumber is seeking a Boom Truck Operator with a CDL Class A license to transport and deliver building materials to local customer jobsites. This role offers a stable, predictable schedule, allowing you to be home every night. You will operate a boom truck to unload and place materials precisely on residential and commercial jobsites, ensuring safe and efficient deliveries. The position involves maintaining daily delivery schedules, providing professional customer service, and adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials
• An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license
• Ability to safely load, unload, and place materials using boom equipment
• Ability to be a team player

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating a boom truck or crane-equipped vehicle preferred
• Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Transporting and delivering building materials to local customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Operating a boom truck to unload and place materials in precise locations on residential and commercial jobsites.
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed efficiently and safely.
• Maintaining daily delivery schedules.
