About The Position

ABC Supply is hiring a CDL Delivery Truck Driver to make ground and rooftop deliveries and ensure the safety of each delivery from departure from the facility through completion at the job site. The role involves delivering materials according to an assigned schedule, coordinating with a Delivery Material Handler, and providing professional customer service. The position does not require over-the-road travel and may include warehouse work, such as loading and unloading materials.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 75–100 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work on rooftops.
• Completion of pre-employment and random drug screens is required.

• Boom truck experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work zone at each job site.
• Follow the assigned delivery schedule and job directives precisely.
• Document each step of deliveries by taking and uploading photos using the company camera-phone system.
• Inspect the truck before leaving the branch, ensuring materials are secured and the truck complies with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with the Delivery Material Handler on material placement and unloading.
• Complete and file logs and required government paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Provide customers with an invoice after each delivery and collect the full amount due for COD deliveries.
• Perform warehouse work as assigned, including loading and unloading materials onto or off trucks or into the warehouse.
