About The Position

The Delivery Driver safely and efficiently operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies and federal and state regulations, delivering freight undamaged. The role works as part of a team to load and unload building materials and provide a high-quality customer service experience. Drivers deliver materials to assigned areas at commercial and residential job sites and operate a flatbed or boom truck as applicable. Work is primarily outdoors at active construction and customer sites, with varying weather and terrain. The position may require early starts, overtime, and schedule flexibility to meet customer and operational demands.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL); minimum Class B license.
Clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
General knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift and move building materials weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance or mechanical equipment as needed.
Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers and exchange accurate information.
Ability to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating a boom.

Nice To Haves

Class A commercial driver's license is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect trucks and trailers for defects to ensure safe operation.
Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom trucks and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
Deliver materials to the area specified by the customer while prioritizing personal and public safety.
Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Report all accidents involving the driver or company equipment.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
Operate commercial motor vehicles and boom vehicles as required.
Follow transportation safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment.
